Meter Readings
The Meters screen is the main workspace for field and office users reviewing meter-reading work.
Open the meter-reading workspace
Section titled “Open the meter-reading workspace”- Sign in to EasyBill.
- Open the water workspace.
- Select Meters from the main navigation.
- Use the tabs at the top of the screen.
Understand the tabs
Section titled “Understand the tabs”- To Read - meters that still need a reading.
- Zero - meters showing zero consumption.
- Anomalies - readings that look unusual and need review.
- Long Unread - meters without recent readings.
- Replace - meter replacement history and replacement work.
Capture or add a reading
Section titled “Capture or add a reading”- Open Meters.
- Start from To Read.
- Search for the meter or customer.
- Open the meter or customer record.
- Enter the reading value shown on the meter.
- Attach a photo if the form asks for one.
- Save the reading.
- Return to the list and confirm the record status changed.
Review unusual readings
Section titled “Review unusual readings”- Open Meters.
- Select Zero, Anomalies, or Long Unread.
- Open the record.
- Compare the reading value with the meter photo and previous readings.
- Correct the value only if your role allows edits.
- Add notes or escalate the record when the field reading cannot be confirmed.
Use reading history
Section titled “Use reading history”- Open a customer or meter record.
- Select the Readings tab.
- Review reading value, date, type, reader, and actions.
- Use the filters to narrow the history when needed.
- Open the reading detail before making any correction.
End-of-cycle check
Section titled “End-of-cycle check”- Open Meters.
- Review To Read and Long Unread.
- Resolve blocked or missing readings before billing.
- Review Anomalies before bills are finalized.
- Confirm replacement records in Replace when a meter was changed during the cycle.
