Meter Readings

The Meters screen is the main workspace for field and office users reviewing meter-reading work.

  1. Sign in to EasyBill.
  2. Open the water workspace.
  3. Select Meters from the main navigation.
  4. Use the tabs at the top of the screen.
  1. To Read - meters that still need a reading.
  2. Zero - meters showing zero consumption.
  3. Anomalies - readings that look unusual and need review.
  4. Long Unread - meters without recent readings.
  5. Replace - meter replacement history and replacement work.
  1. Open Meters.
  2. Start from To Read.
  3. Search for the meter or customer.
  4. Open the meter or customer record.
  5. Enter the reading value shown on the meter.
  6. Attach a photo if the form asks for one.
  7. Save the reading.
  8. Return to the list and confirm the record status changed.
  1. Open Meters.
  2. Select Zero, Anomalies, or Long Unread.
  3. Open the record.
  4. Compare the reading value with the meter photo and previous readings.
  5. Correct the value only if your role allows edits.
  6. Add notes or escalate the record when the field reading cannot be confirmed.
  1. Open a customer or meter record.
  2. Select the Readings tab.
  3. Review reading value, date, type, reader, and actions.
  4. Use the filters to narrow the history when needed.
  5. Open the reading detail before making any correction.
  1. Open Meters.
  2. Review To Read and Long Unread.
  3. Resolve blocked or missing readings before billing.
  4. Review Anomalies before bills are finalized.
  5. Confirm replacement records in Replace when a meter was changed during the cycle.
