Generating and Reviewing Bills

Use Bills, Water Bills, and the Money workspace to review billing records after readings and company billing settings are ready.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Confirm Billing settings are correct.
  3. Confirm customer types, pricing, service zones, and fixed charges are saved if your company uses them.
  4. Open Meters.
  5. Resolve remaining To Read, Long Unread, and Anomalies items.
  6. Open Customers and confirm customer-account-meter links are correct.
  1. Open Bills from the main water navigation.
  2. Use the Water Bills tab to review bill records.
  3. Search bills from the toolbar.
  4. Use the date range filter to focus on a billing period.
  5. Open a bill row to view or generate the bill document if your role allows it.
  1. Water Bills - bill list with search and date filtering.
  2. Payments - payment-related billing view.
  3. Unbilled - accounts or records that still need billing attention.
  4. By Payment - accounts grouped by payment state.
  5. Unread Meters - meters without readings for the current billing period.
  1. Open Bills.
  2. Select Water Bills.
  3. Set the date range.
  4. Use the available download action.
  5. Choose the format offered by the app.
  6. Wait for the report to finish before leaving the screen.
  1. Open Bills.
  2. Open Water Bills.
  3. Find the bill.
  4. Use the reminder or resend action if it is available for your role.
  5. Confirm the channel shown by the app.
  6. Check the result message after sending.
  1. Open Water Bills.
  2. Search for the customer, account number, or meter number.
  3. Open the bill row.
  4. Use the print, download, or share action shown by the app.
  5. Confirm the PDF opens before sending it outside EasyBill.
