Property and Unit Setup

Use Properties and Property Setup to create the property structure your team will manage in EasyBill.

  1. Sign in to EasyBill.
  2. Switch to the real-estate workspace.
  3. Open Properties from the main navigation.
  4. Search the list to confirm the property does not already exist.
  5. Select the add action to start setup.

The real-estate property setup wizard uses these steps:

  1. Property Info - property name, optional property code, and property type.
  2. Location - address and location details.
  3. Unit Types - the unit mix and unit numbering.
  4. Review - confirm details before creating the property.
  1. Enter Property Name.
  2. Enter Property Code if your team uses property codes.
  3. Choose the property type: Residential, Commercial, or Mixed.
  4. Select Next Step.
  1. Enter the address details requested by the form.
  2. Confirm city and country fields if shown.
  3. Select Next Step.
  1. Enter a Unit type, such as Studio, 1 Bedroom, or Shop.
  2. Enter How many units?.
  3. Add a Numbering prefix if your property uses one.
  4. Select Add another unit group if the property has more than one unit type.
  5. Select Next Step when the unit mix is complete.
  1. Review property details.
  2. Review unit count and numbering.
  3. Go back if anything is wrong.
  4. Select Create Property.
  5. After creation, choose Set up billing or return to properties, depending on the next task.
  1. Open Properties.
  2. Search for the property.
  3. Open the property row.
  4. Review units, occupancy, contact details, and status.
  5. Use Edit Property or Add Unit if those actions are available for your role.
