Lease Management

Lease work is available from People, Leases, tenant records, property units, and the real-estate Money workflow.

  1. Open People.
  2. Select the Leases tab if it is visible.
  3. Search by tenant, property, or unit.
  4. Filter by lease status.
  5. Open the lease row.
  1. Open the lease.
  2. Review status, start date, end date, rent, unit, and property.
  3. Use View Profile to open the tenant profile.
  4. Use Record Payment if a payment should be recorded against the lease.
  5. Use Edit Lease if rent override or notes need updating and your role allows it.
  1. Open the lease detail screen.
  2. Select Edit Lease.
  3. Update Monthly Rent Override only when the lease should differ from the saved billing setup.
  4. Add Notes if needed.
  5. Save changes.
  6. Reopen the lease and confirm the update.
  1. Open the lease detail screen.
  2. Find the charges history section.
  3. Use the filter: Pending, Paid, or All.
  4. Open any charge that needs review.
  5. Use payment or adjustment actions only when they are available.
  1. Open the lease or tenant record.
  2. Start the Move-Out workflow.
  3. Complete Move-Out Details.
  4. Complete Inspection.
  5. Complete Settlement.
  6. Review the final step.
  7. Select Terminate Lease.
  8. Confirm the lease status and unit status after completion.
  1. Open the lease or tenant record.
  2. Start the notice workflow if available.
  3. Complete Notice Details.
  4. Review the notice.
  5. Submit.
