What is EasyBill?
Section titled “What is EasyBill?”EasyBill is an operations app for water billing, real estate, and short-stay teams. It includes workspaces for customers, meters, bills, money, properties, people, bookings, inventory, tasks, reports, settings, and team access.
Which workspace should I use?
Section titled “Which workspace should I use?”- Use Water for customers, meters, readings, bills, payments, water reports, and water settings.
- Use Real Estate for properties, units, people, leases, invoices, charges, payments, and property settings.
- Use Short Stay for bookings, guests, channels, inventory, operations, listings, calendar, analytics, inspections, and short-stay settings.
Why can I not see a screen from this help center?
Section titled “Why can I not see a screen from this help center?”Your role may not have permission, the module may not be enabled, or you may be in a different workspace. Ask a company admin to check your role and company access.
How do I add a water customer?
Section titled “How do I add a water customer?”- Open Customers.
- Select the add action.
- Fill in customer and account details.
- Save.
- Search for the customer to confirm the record exists.
How do I add a meter?
Section titled “How do I add a meter?”- Open Meter List or Meters.
- Select the add action.
- Enter the meter number or serial details.
- Link it to the correct customer or account.
- Save.
How do I review meter readings?
Section titled “How do I review meter readings?”- Open Meters.
- Use To Read, Zero, Anomalies, Long Unread, and Replace.
- Open a record to review details before editing.
How do I review bills?
Section titled “How do I review bills?”- Open Bills.
- Select Water Bills.
- Search or filter by date.
- Open a bill row to review or use the available document action.
How do I record a water payment?
Section titled “How do I record a water payment?”- Open Record Payment or use the add action from Money > Payments.
- Select the customer or account.
- Enter the amount.
- Choose the payment method.
- Enter reference or proof details if required.
- Save.
How do I add a real-estate property?
Section titled “How do I add a real-estate property?”- Open Properties.
- Start the property setup workflow.
- Complete Property Info, Location, Unit Types, and Review.
- Select Create Property.
How do I move in a tenant?
Section titled “How do I move in a tenant?”- Start Move-In from the relevant property, unit, or people workflow.
- Complete Tenant Details, Inspection, Contract, and Deposits.
- Select Complete Move-In.
How do I manage short-stay bookings?
Section titled “How do I manage short-stay bookings?”- Open the short-stay workspace.
- Open Bookings or select New Booking from the dashboard.
- Choose guest, listing, dates, and pricing details.
- Confirm the booking.
- Check Calendar for availability.
How do I invite a staff member?
Section titled “How do I invite a staff member?”- Open Team.
- Select Invite User, Add Staff, or the add action shown by the app.
- Enter contact details.
- Choose the role.
- Send or save the invite.
How do I turn on notifications?
Section titled “How do I turn on notifications?”- Open Settings.
- Open Notifications.
- Toggle WhatsApp, SMS, or Email.
- Check SMS Balance before relying on SMS.
Who controls rates, due dates, and payment methods?
Section titled “Who controls rates, due dates, and payment methods?”Your company controls them in Settings and through its own business policies. EasyBill stores and applies the configuration saved by your company.
Where should I ask for help?
Section titled “Where should I ask for help?”Ask your company admin for account access, permissions, billing policy, rates, and customer data. Contact EasyBill support for app errors that your admin cannot resolve.
