Frequently Asked Questions

EasyBill is an operations app for water billing, real estate, and short-stay teams. It includes workspaces for customers, meters, bills, money, properties, people, bookings, inventory, tasks, reports, settings, and team access.

  1. Use Water for customers, meters, readings, bills, payments, water reports, and water settings.
  2. Use Real Estate for properties, units, people, leases, invoices, charges, payments, and property settings.
  3. Use Short Stay for bookings, guests, channels, inventory, operations, listings, calendar, analytics, inspections, and short-stay settings.

Why can I not see a screen from this help center?

Your role may not have permission, the module may not be enabled, or you may be in a different workspace. Ask a company admin to check your role and company access.

  1. Open Customers.
  2. Select the add action.
  3. Fill in customer and account details.
  4. Save.
  5. Search for the customer to confirm the record exists.
  1. Open Meter List or Meters.
  2. Select the add action.
  3. Enter the meter number or serial details.
  4. Link it to the correct customer or account.
  5. Save.
  1. Open Meters.
  2. Use To Read, Zero, Anomalies, Long Unread, and Replace.
  3. Open a record to review details before editing.
  1. Open Bills.
  2. Select Water Bills.
  3. Search or filter by date.
  4. Open a bill row to review or use the available document action.
  1. Open Record Payment or use the add action from Money > Payments.
  2. Select the customer or account.
  3. Enter the amount.
  4. Choose the payment method.
  5. Enter reference or proof details if required.
  6. Save.
  1. Open Properties.
  2. Start the property setup workflow.
  3. Complete Property Info, Location, Unit Types, and Review.
  4. Select Create Property.
  1. Start Move-In from the relevant property, unit, or people workflow.
  2. Complete Tenant Details, Inspection, Contract, and Deposits.
  3. Select Complete Move-In.
  1. Open the short-stay workspace.
  2. Open Bookings or select New Booking from the dashboard.
  3. Choose guest, listing, dates, and pricing details.
  4. Confirm the booking.
  5. Check Calendar for availability.
  1. Open Team.
  2. Select Invite User, Add Staff, or the add action shown by the app.
  3. Enter contact details.
  4. Choose the role.
  5. Send or save the invite.
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Notifications.
  3. Toggle WhatsApp, SMS, or Email.
  4. Check SMS Balance before relying on SMS.

Who controls rates, due dates, and payment methods?

Your company controls them in Settings and through its own business policies. EasyBill stores and applies the configuration saved by your company.

Ask your company admin for account access, permissions, billing policy, rates, and customer data. Contact EasyBill support for app errors that your admin cannot resolve.
