Company Settings

Use Settings to control company-level behavior. The sections you see depend on the workspace and your permissions.

  1. Sign in to EasyBill.
  2. Open the company you want to configure.
  3. Select Settings from the secondary navigation.
  4. Use the Settings sidebar, search, or section list to find the setting.
  1. Open Company.
  2. Review the setup checklist and company identity.
  3. Open Information.
  4. Update editable contact rows such as email, phone, or office details.
  5. Save each row before leaving the section.
  1. Open Billing.
  2. Set Pay bill number if your company uses it.
  3. Set Billing cycle.
  4. Set SMS sender ID in water companies when your sender name is ready.
  5. In water companies, review Customer Types & Pricing, Service Zones, and Fixed Monthly Charges.
  6. In real-estate companies, open Billing Setups when lease defaults need reusable billing setup.
  7. Open Payments.
  8. Enable only the payment methods your company accepts.
  9. Review validation rules such as proof images, M-Pesa receipt, and M-Pesa code validation.
  10. Save changes.

The current payment settings can include:

  1. M-Pesa.
  2. M-Pesa manual.
  3. Cash.
  4. Cheque.
  5. Bank transfer.
  6. Mobile money.
  7. Airtel Money.
  8. PostaPay.
  9. Other.
  1. Open Notifications.
  2. Toggle WhatsApp, SMS, and Email based on the customer channels your company uses.
  3. Wait for the setting to save before toggling the next one.
  4. If loading fails, refresh the page and try again.
  1. Open Invoices.
  2. Review invoice appearance and payment-term settings.
  3. Save invoice setting changes.
  4. Open SMS Balance if your company sends SMS through EasyBill.
  5. Review remaining SMS and threshold settings if balance data is available.
  1. Open Operations for invoice customization, contract templates, or advanced configuration links shown by the app.
  2. Open Appearance to adjust theme mode or brand color settings.
  3. Save changes before leaving the page.
